WCU's multidisciplinary forensic science program includes courses in anthropology, applied criminology, biology, chemistry, clinical laboratory science, physics, and psychology.
We stay ahead of the technology curve with the most modern equipment and facilities. Our newest facilities include a physical therapy laboratory for studying human movement, a health care simulation lab for our nursing and health sciences students, a Broadway-quality performing arts center, a confocal microscope for our biology students, and a new Center for Adaptive Devices. WCU is the only school in the UNC system supported by a government grant to do fiber-optics research.
